Plant Condition Assessment Project

Genesys was retained to develop a master plan for all utilities for the Town of Greenport and design and implement the overhaul and upgrade of three (3) Enterprise, low RPM, diesel generators totaling 7 MW and complete the installation of two (2) 1.6 MW EMD diesel generators. In addition to the overhaul of the diesel generators, the project included an assessment of engine systems (i.e. cooling water, fuel oil, lube oil), village electric distribution system, plant switchgear, generator controls, system instrumentation and controls and plant operations.
